The Care Inspectorate inspected us in October 2019 and have now published their report. Step Up was assessed for it’s Quality of Care and its Staffing, maintaining Grades of 5 (Very Good) in each theme.
Our Inspector noted that:
“We found that people received a very good quality of care and support within Step Up.”
People that we support told the Inspector anonymously that:
“It really has been a positive experience. Staff are really good at supporting me through day to day life … I get on really well with my keyworker. I get on well with the manager, she sees me every day to make sure I’m OK.”
and…
“I wouldn’t change the service at all. I get on with the staff, they help me out.”
We were extremely pleased with our result and look forward to maintaining our high quality of Care going into 2020.
