Step Up is pleased to be a member of the Neighbourly Surplus food share scheme.
Food is a staple of community life. Meal-times bring people together and give us the strength and courage to make positive changes in our lives. That’s why Marks and Spencer donate their surplus food, including chilled food, to charities and community groups near their stores. So far, Marks and Spencer have redistributed over 8 million meals to hundreds of local causes. They also donate non-food surplus including cleaning and laundry products and toiletries. Thanks to these donations, the people that Step Up support have been able to benefit from their resources going a little further, while receiving food which is perfectly good to eat for no cost at all.
