Help & Support
We understand that the festive period can be a challenging time for some people.
Both young and old, some of us unfortunately go through negatives emotions due to or linked to the holiday season.
Financial struggles over the Winter period are common. However, with the current cost of living crisis, financial struggles over the holidays are likely to be felt by more of us. If you feel yourself struggling, it’s important to seek help as soon as possible.
Take Steps to Support Those Around You
This is the season to give back… if you can provide support to anyone, it is so important at this time of the year and your help will be cherished. Community and support are valuable resources in lifting ourselves up especially this season.
Are you Feeling Lonely?
It’s quite common to experience loneliness amongst all the social pressures of the festive period. However, no matter how big or small your celebrations are, you can still enjoy them. Whether that means reaching out to connect with loved ones far away or developing new stronger connections with the people around us.
If you find yourself struggling over the holiday period, please share how you’re feeling with the people around you or get in contact with a support group.
Talking about how you’re feeling is the first step to getting through it. So, we have put together some contacts that stay open over the holidays. Please don’t hesitate to reach out…
We recommend reaching out to the local citizen’s advice bureau. Amongst other things, they are a great source of financial support.
