Step Up are committed to the development and implementation of a Quality Policy and the Quality Management System which are both compatible with the strategic direction and the context of the organisation, the whole system is frequently reviewed to ensure conformance to the ISO 9001:2015 standards which is the Quality Management System standards that Step Up follow and adhere to.
Each year we are externally audited by the British Assessment Bureau who is the certification body who will award Step Up ISO accreditation status, if their audit findings/observations evidences that we are compliant to the ISO 9001 standards.
ISO 9001 aids Step Up to remain compliant with organisational procedures and processes, ensuring we maintain and improve core functions of the organisation for the overall service we provide whilst adhering to a comprehensive Quality Management System. This enables Step Up to ensure we continue to evolve, develop and strengthen as a Health & Social Care provider in respect of our service provision, procedures, documentation and compliance with sector legislation and regulations.
Step Up have recently had our annual surveillance audit by the British Assessment Bureau. Step Up’s Quality Manager (Ryan McCrory) is pleased to share with you all, that this external audit went well. Step Up received no suggestions for improvement, no recommendations and no nonconformities. This was a commending outcome for our employees, people we support and the organisation overall. This was real team effort and a massive well done to all.
As always, we are committed to striving for the best outcomes for the people we support and our employees therefore to receive audit feedback with no recommendations or suggestions for improvement, I truly feel this echoes our values and commitment we have around Quality Assurance, systems & processes and our commitment to both people we support and our employees at Step Up.
