Step Up Celebrates Pride!
Here at Step Up, we believe in creating a safe and inclusive space for everyone we work with, staff and young people alike. That’s why we were thrilled to host a mini Pride celebration right here in our office last Friday (28th June 2024).
We welcomed our staff and the young people we support for a small gathering to celebrate Pride month. We had a spread of refreshing drinks and cupcakes that were almost too pretty to eat (almost!).
Pride is about more than just flags and rainbows, it’s about celebrating diversity, standing up for equality, and creating a world where everyone feels empowered to be their true selves.
At Step Up, we’re proud allies of the LGBTQ+ movement. We know that young people from these communities can face unique challenges, and we’re committed to providing them with the support and resources they need to thrive.
