Here at Step Up, we have been working to formulate our response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. We are continually assessing the situation and adapting our response to meet the needs of our supported individuals, ensuring that we continue to deliver a high standard of care and support at this challenging time.
Following the latest advice provided by the Care Inspectorate and the restrictions set in place by both the UK and Scottish Governments, we have taken the necessary steps to change the delivery of our support services.
All precautions are now being taken to ensure that we continue to meet the needs of the young people that we support while adhering to strict social distancing guidelines. Our support workers are now adapting their delivery methods so that they can continue to carry out their duties while following these new guidelines. Our main priority continues to be providing an excellent standard of care to the individuals that we support.
As such, we are now looking to recruit more Support Workers to join our ever growing team. Our new members will be helping us to deliver support to vulnerable individuals out in the community and undertaking new duties such as food shopping and prescription collection.

We acknowledge that this is a difficult time for everyone, and we would like to thank our extremely hard-working staff who are continuing to support our service users by ensuring their well-being is safeguarded and their needs are being met.
