Stress Awareness Month: Step Up Prioritises Wellbeing at Work
Welcome to April, and with it, National Stress Awareness Month! Here at Step Up, we understand the pressures our staff face every day, and we’re committed to supporting and promoting good mental health and overall wellbeing in the workplace.
Throughout this month, we’ll be focusing on practical ways to manage stress and prioritise wellbeing at work. We’ll be sharing a variety of resources, tips, and activities to help navigate the demands of life while staying mentally and emotionally healthy.
Taking Care of You Matters
As a reminder of our commitment to wellbeing in the workplace, we’re gifting our team a “wellbeing box” – a small token to encourage and remind our team to take some time for themselves and de-stress.
Stress: A Common Challenge
Stress is something millions of us face in the UK. While it’s not necessarily a mental health issue in itself, prolonged periods of stress can take a toll on our overall health and wellbeing, potentially leading to burnout.
That’s why for Stress Awareness Month we’ve updated our internal staff portal with a comprehensive collection of resources! This includes information and support materials covering everything from mental health to financial wellbeing. In addition to this, we’ve also published our new Wellbeing Hub landing page, which includes free-to-access materials and links covering topics such as preventing burnout and eating well!
Keep an eye on our social media channels throughout Stress Awareness Month. We’ll be sharing valuable resources, tips, and activities to help everyone manage stress and prioritise wellbeing at work. Remember, a healthy and happy you is a more productive and fulfilled you!
