Step Up would like to introduce you to Pam, our new Human Resource Business Partner. Pam’s journey in the HR field is both diverse and impressive. Starting from retail management, moving on to her own HR consultancy, and then to various roles in HR and employment law, she’s gathered a wealth of experience.
Pam joined Step Up in February 2023 as Human Resource Business Partner. Having graduated many moons ago with a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing, Pam began her career in Retail Management. Throughout the next 10 years Pam gained experience in the fields of Management Recruitment, Personnel and Human Resources – all within the retail environment.
Pam then ran her own HR Consultancy business for a period of 6 and a half years, working primarily with SME’s providing everything from Recruitment & Induction, Employment Legislation advice &support, Training & Development and Performance Management support.
This was followed by a period of 6 years working for an Employment Law Specialists which also involved working closely with Business Gateway in expert support.
Latterly, Pam worked as a Senior HR Consultant for an HR Consultancy providing a full range of HR support to a variety of business types including both private & public organisations, charities and 3rd sector enterprises.
Pam is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and describes herself as an ‘HR Generalist with a passion for training & development’.
